Hawaii Interisland Flights To Lanai

Hawaiian Airlines' operates code-share flights aboard Dash 8 aircraft to and from Lanai Airport. Lanai visitors and residents alike are welcomed with Interisland flights departing and returning to Honolulu on Oahu, Lihue on Kauai, and both Hilo and Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.

When you catch Interisland flights to Lanai, you’ll feel as if you’re on an intimate aerial tour of this former pineapple island. Since the Lanai Interisland airfare covers Hawaiian Airlines code-share service on smaller Dash 8 aircraft, you’ll approach "Hawaii’s Most Enticing Island" at a lower altitude. So flights to Lanai are more like sightseeing adventures that take in the dramatic coastline and landscape with its down to earth approach.

Diving into a scuba session at Cathedrals? Heading off to hike the Monro Trail? Or are you simply rewarding yourself with an upscale escape free from the day to day grind? When it’s time to step off your normal trail and get into the heart of Hawaii, the island of Lanai awaits as a nature lover’s dream.

Lanai Adventures

Don’t let its size fool you. The tiny island of Lanai is enormous on adventure. Home to some 3,000 people and not a single stoplight, the former pineapple isle lures nature lovers to 80,000 acres of off-the-beaten-path treasures - literally. With only 30 miles of paved road, what other route could you take!

It’s what lies "just beyond" that makes Lanai so engaging. Rugged yet approachable, the island captivates explorers with diversions unlike others in Hawaii. From the eerie lunar landscape at the Garden of the Gods to the ancient Hawaiian remnants of Kaunolu, geography and history have made a stunning impact that grows even more intense with time.

Four-wheel drivers can rip through raw upcountry terrain, taking it all in. The ultimate reward? Most agree its from hiking the terrestrial Monro Trail, an advanced hiking route that traverses the 3,370-ft. Lanaihale. The challenging 16-mile roundtrip trek can be tackled via foot, bicycle or four-wheel drive. The view is a five-island stunner that, on a clear day, sweeps across Maui, Molokai, Kahoolawe, Hawaii and Oahu.

For more civilized pursuits, the island’s two upscale resorts feature horseback riding, sporting clays, lawn bowling, tennis, spa treatments and championship golf courses - an adventure in luxury, no doubt.

Even the dolphins find Lanai an irresistible playground, making the warm, clear waters offshore their personal playground. Divers and snorkelers agree with the friendly mammals. When it comes to water ventures, this wonderland is hard to beat.
