Hawaii Interisland Flights To Oahu


More than 75 years ago, we started as Interisland Airways, inaugurating Hawaii's first scheduled Interisland passenger flights on November 11, 1929.

Today, Hawaiian Airlines' fleet of Boeing B-717 jets operates over 100 daily Interisland flights among five Hawaii airports on four Hawaiian Islands. From gates 56 - 64 at Honolulu International Airport’s Interisland flights Terminal, Oahu visitors and residents alike are welcomed with neighbor island flights departing and returning to Kahului on Maui, Lihue on Kauai, and both Hilo and Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Code-share service aboard Dash 8 aircraft is available from and to Molokai, Lanai and Kapalua Airport on Maui from the adjacent Commuter Terminal. All Hawaiian Airlines convenient ways to island hop receive great Hawaii Interisland airfare.

Honolulu International Airport Information

The primary aviation gateway for the State of Hawaii, Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is the major hub for domestic overseas and Hawaii Interisland flights. Occupying some 2,216 acres of land and 2,210 acres of water, the facility is situated five miles west of Downtown Honolulu.

Servicing the neighbor islands, the Interisland Flights Terminal is designed to handle jet aircraft flights between the major commercial airports in the Hawaiian Islands. An adjacent Commuter Terminal operates Hawaiian Airlines’ code-share flights.

A Visitor Information Program (VIP) Booth is located on the second level at the Interisland Terminal lobby across from Burger King.

Oahu Shopping And Dining

When it comes to shopping, Oahu’s options are endless! Ala Moana is the world’s largest outdoor shopping center and Hawaii’s premier retail, entertainment and dining destination with 260 stores – including nearly 70 dining choices. Then there’s Kahala Mall in east Oahu, Windward Mall in Kaneohe, Pearlridge Center in Pearl City and Waikele Premium Outlets in Waipahu. Bring your charge cards!

And don’t forget all the shopping sites in Waikiki. Kalakaua Avenue presents such beauties as the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, DFS Galleria, International Marketplace, Waikiki Shopping Plaza and Outrigger’s Waikiki Beach Walk.

You’ll also discover Victoria Ward Centers situated between Waikiki and Downtown along Ala Moana Boulevard. Some 120 shops, over 20 restaurants, a 16-megaplex and a midway of interactive high-tech attractions are a magnet for those craving variety.

As with shopping, Oahu dining is off the charts. Ala Moana alone supports that claim! Stroll through Waikiki and you can literally taste your way around the world. Just beyond, Victoria Ward Centers also satisfies the most finicky foodie with such popular eateries as E & O Trading Company, Compadres, Dave & Busters, Kakaako Kitchen, and Brew Moon Restaurant and Microbrewery.

Catering more to the downtown crowd are Restaurant Row and Aloha Tower Marketplace. At the Tower, you’ll also find a selection of cocktail sites where you can soak in a sunset and catch local entertainment. Don’t miss Gordon Biersch, Don Ho’s Island Grill and Chai’s Island Bistro.
